So a few months ago I found out that a friend was having a baby. Having a baby is always exciting news and a great blessing.

My friends husband is a big wrestling fan and so we thought it would be a good idea to gift her husband something he’d enjoy.

In events like this, it’s usually the mother that gets all the gifts but rarely do you see the dad receiving gifts. Well, unless it’s a boy.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Just want to start off by saying Happy New Year to everyone. I know I’m a week late and all but better late then never I suppose. I can’t believe it’s 2019 already. So excited for what’s the come this year.

I already have my “Make Nine” for the year and I’m looking forward to getting started on that. I’ve never done a “Make Nine” before. I figured if I want to sew more and be held accountable then I need to set a schedule with specific items to work on.  A post and video on my picks will be coming soon.

There's nothing that I love more than some pumpkin seeds. Well any kind of seeds to be honest. They are not only good for you but also full of flavor by themselves. I do like to try out new coatings for them too.

I got this product #ZzzQuil for testing purposes from influenster. I've had to deal with insomnia most of my adult life and it became worse around the time I was diagnosed with Lupus. With all the meds that I was/am taking, plus with my body being in constant pain I found it hard to stay asleep. I've not been able to take prescription sleep aids because of drug interactions but also because I don't like the idea that I could become dependent on them. I was honestly scared that I would go to sleep but never wake up. Hey, I'm just keeping it real here.
