I purchased this shampoo and conditioner back in February (2016) at Walgreens for $4.99 a piece. The shampoo and conditioner was marked at $10.49 but when the shampoo rung up $4.99, I ran back and grabbed the conditioner as well. I mean who wouldn't and doesn't love a sale, especially for the large 32 oz. bottles. At the time I purchased it, my hair was much longer. After the first time using it, I was like "WTH?!". Even now I think and wonder if that was a good thing or a bad. Oh yeah and did I mention that while using this, I never noticed the words "STRAIGHTENING" on the front of both bottles? Please don't ask how I missed them because I did.
But anyway. It all started back when I was born with a head full of thick crazy hair. No but seriously though, my hair is really thick and curly. Some times I love it and sometimes I just honestly hate it. My hair has been natural for some time now, but after this I'm not so sure on if it's still considered natural or not.
The first time I used this, while washing it felt so good on my scalp. Then while rinsing my hair it felt as though it was falling out, a thin feeling. I panicked a bit till I opened my eyes and saw no hair in the shower. Then of course I conditioned my hair, combed it and left the conditioner in while I washed up, and then rinsed before getting out.
Since I didn't think to take pictures and post about it then, I decided to do it now since my hair has grown since shaving it back in March (2016)
Clearly the picture in the blue shirt was the before. All I did was picked out my curls to show my hair length before washing it with the Brazillian Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner. The grey shirt is, well, the aftermath of it all. I really like how it looks with my hair being this short.
Have you ever tried this product before? How did you like it?
