Where I use to live the closest Kohl’s was about three to four hours away and yet commercials was still airing in my location. Man that was seriously frustrating. I am aware that I could have ordered online but I’m a hands on kind of gal. I like to physically see the items. Sometimes my normal size may be too small or often too big. It just depends on the clothing item and the fabric.
Though I scoped out the website, I was still not quite sure the type of store Kohl’s was till I entered. I was very impressed with our local store and how nice it was. I liked the fact that the first thing I seen when I entered was the sale racks. I’m definitely a bargain shopping and I hate having to search all over for the sale/clearance racks. Another thing that I liked was that they racks were very organized. You don’t come across that in any store to often.
With the entire store at my fingertips, I of course scope out the sale racks. I like to try to get more for my buck when possible. There was so many nice things on the racks but everything was short sleeves and just short all the way around. I did come across these two shirts as you can see in the pictures. I really liked them and so I of course grabbed them.
When it was time to check out, I knew that I would be paying out of pocket but never realized how little. I personally only paid $7 for the fact that I have the $20 gift card and the items were on sale.
The purple top I found to be quite versatile when it comes to how to wear it and it was available in other colors; blue, black, green, and pink. The purple on was the only one available in my size though.
I pared it up with a dark purple scarf that I got from Charming Charlie’s, some simple black leggings and some flats. I also opted for the lite purple scarf but I like the dark purple better. I like that it was long sleeved and the length gave coverage all around.
This striped shirt was actually my fave in the store but once I put it on I was like, “um no”. I mean it’s cute but it definitely doesn’t pare with leggings either that or I’m just too “fluffy” or what not.
I’m thinking that this shirt would go better with a pair of jeans or maybe a skirt.
