I had posted this a while back but not sure what happened to the post. Oh well, I’ll just do it again.

So some of the projects that I am attempting to get done this year are as follows.

I know some of these are basic but it’s items that I want to get done. I also have a few others in mind and set aside but those are just random things and smaller projects.

  • Simplicity 8255 – a really cute jump suit and I’m really excited to get started on. I’m not even sure on how it will look on me with my height but I thought I’d try it out anyway.

  • Simplicity D0846 – I really like view A and D although they are all cute. I picked this one in hopes of getting it done by September for my birthday.

  • Simplicity 8014 – This pattern has been around for some time now. I’m not going to lie, I’m intimidated by the buttons. I know how to set buttons if it’s like two but to have that many makes me nervous for some reason. Either way no closet is complete without a shirt dress.

  • Simplicity 8516 – This pattern as you can tell is from the fabulous and talented Mimi G. These jeans are so adorbs and it’s definitely out of my comfort zone. I know if I can complete these and make them fit, then I know I can sew just about anything.

  • Vouge V8772 – My plan for this pattern is to do view C or F. Not sure why I picked this one since how I’m not good with buttons. I think though I’ll end up doing F because I love 3/4” sleeves.

  • McCalls M6044 – I have been reading on how to alter your patterns. This one will be perfect for it. My boyfriend has really broad shoulders and so I’m thinking I may need to make some adjustments. Practice makes perfect and so thought I’d practice on a shirt for him. So with that being said, view A is the one I was going for in this man pattern.

  • McCalls M7061 – Although this is a pajama pattern, I’m sure with the right print and material this could be used for daily lounge wear too. My goal is to make all the items in this pattern.

  • McCalls M7261 – With this being a fitness patter, I thought it would be perfect. Being a fitness coach and working out as much as I do, I thought it would be great to add some workout clothes to my list. I have a few patterns that I drafted myself but for this I wanted to use a commercial pattern.

Well those are just a few of the items that I plan to make by the end of 2019. As I stated before I do have other items and projects that I’ll be working on but these are my main focus. A few other items that I’d like include but no rush to make are;

  • Bomber jacket

  • Dog sweater (for my Sophie)

  • Walker bag

  • A pant suit

  • Swim suit

  • Sports bra

So what projects or sewing plans are you working on this year? Let me know down in the comments.

Blessings y’all
